New Mexico High School Competency Exam
The New Mexico High School Competency Exam will be administered to those students who require it to graduate next week, March 2nd and 3rd. Letters were sent home with students who need to take this exam. Please speak with your student to see if they need to take this exam and return the signed portion to the Health Academy Office, E216.

CNM REGISTRATION
New Dual Credit students can register for summer 2010 term on April 16th. Returning DC students will have their registration date emailed to their myCNM accounts.

HAWKS that SOAR
During the 7th week of the spring semester, Volcano Vista faculty/staff recognized over 350 positive behavior acts. Six students were randomly drawn to win the weekly prize. They are as follows:

ABSENCE ADMIT
Complete the attached form and turn it in to the main office secretary within two (2) days of the absence. If the absences are consecutive, turn in form within two (2) days of last absence.
It is not necessary to call in the absence – just submit this form to the main office.
The absence admit form is also available in the front office.

Once you see a calendar, you may push the button entitled "filter" at the top of the page. Select Volcano Vista to view ONLY those events for our school. Parent Advisory Organization
Please join our parent advisory group as we begin to develop many ways to support our instructional program! We need parent volunteers! We meet the third Wednesday of every month at 5:30 pm in the library. Currently, we are seeking officers, planning staff luncheons and the Academic Letter Awards! Please join us!
